THE THREE NAILS STORY
Sadie, my trusted dog, likes to help out as well. She's good at digging, fetching, and reminding us that eye protection is always important.

My interest as a handyman started as a teenager at a campground. I noticed there were retired men volunteering their services to repair and create items such as bunk beds. I asked one gentleman why he was spending his summer working free. He said, "Jesus was a carpenter and I wanted to be one too." It was the first time I had realized that Jesus was raised a carpenter and probably made house calls fixing things! I had never realized that working with your hands could not only be a career, but a reflection of a man who shaped so many lives.
Growing up I chose a path in ministry. I earned a degree in Psychology at California State University, Sacramento followed by a Master's of Divinity at Fuller Seminary in Pasadena, CA. I served as the lead pastor and head of staff at three different churches. I always used my spare time to build furniture, do home improvements and look for ways to use those gifts in ministry. I would even set up the church to look like my garage on Father's Day; complete with a wall of tools and a sign made out of duct tape! After 13 years it was time to step out from behind the pulpit and start swinging a hammer full time. I want to be a carpenter who connects with others and leaves their homes nicer than I found them. Deep down, I think that's what I've always wanted since that day I spoke with that man at camp. Why Choose Three Nails Handyman? As your handyman, it's my goal to develop a long term relationship. I want to help you create a home that makes you and everyone feel welcome. I will be punctual and if something prevents me from making an appointment, I will call to make things right. It's difficult to bring a stranger into your home with all your belongings. I will work to earn your trust so you will have peace of mind while I'm present. Why Hire a Handyman?
